MUJO: HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

For Isabelle, every MUJO material is a quest. Finding a fabric that meets all the criteria for ethical production requires meticulous work. It is an almost spiritual journey where the pitfalls reflect the abuses of our over-consuming society. An affordable fabric is generally one that respects neither the environment nor those who produce it. Isabelle's makes it a mission to find fabrics that are sometimes made of natural fibers, sometimes organic, sometimes recycled or regenerated, but never compromises on performance.

Each MUJO piece is designed with the utmost respect for the craftsman. MUJO allows you to wear your favorite items more often and for a longer time, thereby reducing your ecological footprint.

BAMBOO CERTIFIED OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100

Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world. Its cultivation does not require any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Its production uses four times less water than cotton and it is completely biodegradable. It is often said that bamboo fiber is anti-odor, antibacterial, hypoallergenic, anti UV and thermoregulatory. This fabric also has an above-average absorption capacity and incredible softness. Many criticize the chemicals used when transforming the plant into fiber, which is why MUJO chose certified fabric.

OEKO-TEX certification is a large umbrella that integrates a multitude of services and certifications. The aim of OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification is to assess and eliminate the use of harmful substances in the manufacturing of textiles. A STANDARD 100 certified fabric by OEKO-TEX is indicated for skin comfort in different classes, including infant products, products in direct contact with the skin and decoration materials.

ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON

ECONYL® reclaimed nylon has the exact same properties and performance as new nylon, but it gives you a sustainability advantage by turning waste into treasure. Made from waste, it's infinitely recyclable and creates sustainable products that also help move the industry toward a sustainable future. The ECONYL® regeneration system involves the rescue and collection of waste materials, such as industrial plastics, carpets and fishing nets, which are collected from the oceans. The fibers do not wrinkle, do not shrink, are wear-resistant, elastic, light and soft. This breathable material is perfectly suited for functional and sportswear. We have chosen this revolutionary material for our activewear collection. Pieces that are worn very close to the body and require high quality performance.

ECO-LINEN

Made from 80% Livaeco rayon and 20% linen, the Eco-Linen is our affordable alternative to a full linen production.

Linen is an exceptional material, of high quality while remaining eco-responsible. The cultivation of flax is remarkable, requiring very little irrigation and resistant to insects without the use of pesticides. When the natural linen fiber is not mixed in production with synthetic fibers or chemically dyed, it is completely biodegradable. It has a resistance up to 3 times greater than that of cotton, is very absorbent, but also anti-static.

Its two big flaws: it is very expensive to produce and wrinkles very easily. Our solution to these problems is our blend of Livaeco rayon and linen which gives us a biodegradable, light, resistant, opaque, flexible and soft to the touch product, providing an exceptional quality at a reasonable price!

Find it in all the pieces of our Eco-Linen collection.

ECOVERO®

Produced by Lenzing, EcoVero fabric is considered eco-responsible and is made from semi-synthetic polymers. It is a soft fabric with a very luxurious appearance. Its manufacture is made using natural and renewable materials: cellulose filaments made from wood pulp extracted directly from trees.

Its qualities are multiple: elastic, durable, little pilling, does not wrinkle easily, it is also light and lets the skin breathe thanks to its hypoallergenic properties. Easy to clean and dry, it does not mold. It really is the perfect fabric to take on a trip!
